Guest Speakers
Clondalkin Camera Club played host to two extremely talented and interesting guest speakers over the last few weeks. Moira Sweeney presented her very successful 'Crann Beatha' (Tree Life) exhibition on Mon 10th November. This included stunning tree studies from Ireland and the Pyrenees in France. Moira captured these images on a Leicia rangefinder and has endeavoured to present the beauty and elegance of trees in different seasons and settings. Visit the exhibition website here.
The following week members were treated to some beautiful landscape and environmental images from Drogheda-based photographer Martin Hughes. Martin has combined his photographic talent with his love of the outdoors (He is involved in trekking and mountaineering) and has captured this in vibrant colour, moody B&W and surreal mono infrared.
