National Shield and Distinctions Nov 2006
Distinctions
Three members of Clondalkin Camera Club submitted their work for consideration to be awarded the Licentiateship of the Irish Photographic Federation, a Distinction known as LIPF.
These members were Ray Byrne, Nora Sleator and Michael Sullivan. These members had met over the summer with Members of the Committee and some of our Advanced Workers to discuss the merits of the images from which the final choice of entries was made. Their panels were shown on the 12th November 2006, and we are delighted to report that all 3 Members were granted the Distinction of LIPF – Well Done, one and all. There were about 44 applicants for the LIPF Distinction.
